Capturing this photo was fun! We trekked around Lake Yamanaka, situated at the foot of Mt. Fuji, to find the perfect spot for photographing the sunset behind this iconic peak. There were swans on the shore, but my wide-angle lens was too broad to get a good shot of a swan with the mountain in the background. So, I decided to get closer to one of the swans, stopping less than a meter from its face.
